Journey Studio help
Helpful answers for teams setting up a workspace, creating projects, and buying only the map or research capacity they need.
Common questions
You create or join a workspace, confirm your email when required, and land in Projects. Real work starts by creating a project, then adding maps or research inside it.
Yes. Projects are the home for real work. They keep maps, research, and project context together so your workspace stays organized from the start.
Yes. If your company workspace already exists, Journey Studio can prompt you to request access from a colleague, or an owner can send you a workspace invitation.
Yes. The workspace keeps a trial research path and a free mapper sandbox so you can explore the flow before using paid credits for real project work.
It lets you try the interactive mapper board inside Journey Studio without creating a paid saved project map. Report, PDF, and public share deliverables belong to concluded paid Journey Maps.
Common questions
A project is the container for one client, initiative, or team effort. It holds the project description, saved maps, and research items in one place.
Inside projects. The top-level Maps and Research pages are there to reopen and review saved work across the workspace, not to start new production items.
Because Journey Studio now keeps creation inside projects. That reduces clutter, makes ownership clearer, and keeps every saved map or research item tied to a real work context.
The Trial project is a protected workspace area that keeps the one test research flow separate from your real client work. It stays available as a reference, but it is not meant to replace normal projects.
Common questions
One map credit unlocks one real saved Journey Map inside your workspace. The credit is used when the first real draft map is generated and opened for your team, so sandbox exploration stays free while real project maps consume capacity once created.
One research credit unlocks one real Journey Research run inside a project. Research credits are bought only when needed and are used at the workspace level rather than tied to one specific project ahead of time.
Journey Pack is the workspace bundle for teams that want both mapping and research. It grants one map credit and one research credit in a single purchase.
No. Credits belong to the workspace and can be used across projects. That lets teams buy capacity once and apply it where the next real piece of work needs it.
A concluded Journey Map prepares one stored report interpretation for the report page. PDF downloads render a file from that stored report content, so reopening the page or downloading the PDF does not prepare a new interpretation each time.
Common questions
Yes. Owners can invite workspace teammates and choose owner, contributor, or viewer roles.
Empty containers can be removed directly in the app. If a project, map, or research item contains real saved work, Journey Studio starts a safer owner-confirmation flow with email approval and clear export guidance before deletion is finalized.
Exports belong to paid research work and are available from the research flow once there is real collected data to work with. Trial is meant for proving the workflow, not for production exports.
